Vector and Bitmap files?
At the Decal-Factory.com we can print from just about any type of file, however some
files are better than others. We prefer vector files, but some high resolution bitmaps
at 300dpi are acceptable.
Confused about the difference between vector and bitmap?
Click the Decal-Factory.com logos to the right for a large graphical comparison between
several types of decals. The three colored decals above are the same as the three
non-colored decals below but only the bottom decals are shown in wireframe that allows
you to view vector vs bitmap. The top logo is completely vector, which allows perfect
resolution and can be scaled to any size with perfect crisp edges and no “jaggys”
. The middle decal has some bitmap elements and some vector, while the vector will
remain clear the other bitmap elements will be “jaggy” especially when enlarged.
The bottom decal is completely bitmap and may be “jaggy” especially when enlarged.

to retain top quality and crisp edges for large and small decals.

and to make it even easier, just to the right of this printed text is a form to upload
your file, please fill out the form completely so that we know who the file belongs
to and what exactly you need printed and the quantity. We will acknowledge with
an e-mail that we did receive your file and that we are giving your order prompt
attention.
Please also make sure that if we print directly from your file that it is a high
quality vector or bitmap image, for more information please see the next question
below.

How long does it take to make my order?
Do you make vinyl lettering or graphics without a background?
Yes, we make single color or white vinyl lettering or decals that do not have a background,
these are on a pre-spaced removable mask that once you apply it to your car window
you can see through the background between the graphics. We also make standard single
color vinyl lettering for vehicles, boats, store hours, signs, banners, real-estate
signs, construction site signs, political signs, window lettering, or any other vinyl
lettering applications? We use quality materials for all of our custom vinyl lettering
that is made to order to suit your specific need!

Decal-Factory.com offers Free USPS Priority Shipping on all orders over $99. For
orders under $99 there is a nominal $7.50 fee for small packages & $14.50 for large

What are die-cut decals?
Die-cut decals are vinyl outdoor decals or “stickers” that are waterproof and UV
Sun Resistant from 3 years at a minimum up to 10 years or more in some types of decals.
The term “Die-Cut” means that the decals are cut to a contour shape around your
unlimited color printed decal image rather than trimmed on a square. Die-cut decals
can also include vinyl die-cut lettering or graphics. Either way, die-cut decals
can be made with any color and in just about any size, from ½ inch to 52 inches in
height or even larger if we panel your graphic or image.
How much do die-cut decals cost and why are there no prices listed?
Custom die-cut decals can be varied as much as the stars in the sky, virtually unlimited!
Since we do not sell pre-made decals and make only what you need specifically, we
price each order based upon the type of materials we use to make your decals or lettering
and cost is determined upon other factors such as overall size, quantity and wether
or not the decals have artwork that is usable for print or cut, if not getting the
file ready to print or cut is another factor in determining how much your die-cut
decals will cost. Please fill out the form below and we will contact you promptly

Are your decals good for outdoor use and will the resist fading from the sun?
Yes all of the decals from the Decal-Factory.com are good for outdoor use! Our outdoor
decals are waterproof and UV Sun Resistant from 3 years at a minimum and we can add
an additional clear laminate 4 year UV layer to protect it from fading and add extra
durability and scuff resistance on all of our printed decals. That is a protected
full color printed decal that is resistant to sun fading for up to 7 years in most
climates!
Our vinyl lettering offers UV protection for up to 10 years or more in some types
of decals.
